After buying a resale HDB, I was initially introduced to few interior design firms. In the midst of browsing through their design and quotation, I came to know Spacious Planners through a friend. After seeing a completed project of a house and shown fresh designs that other firms did not offer, I decided to choose the firm to renovate my house. What I cared about most was the utility room in the kitchen which the firm took advantage of. The delay in the permission to break down the walls of the kitchen held up subsequent procedures. On the day of the move, though there were parts that was not yet completed, the designer informed us in advance. Generally, I was satisfied with the overall look of the design. A few downsides were the untidy painting of some areas, the cabinets of the kitchen and bathroom being impractical. Several visits were made for the remaining process of the carpenter. There were also issues with the air-con and the blockage in the bathroom but these were solved well each time. Besides, I was pleased with the lighting of the kitchen and shoe cabinet. The cabinet design was also well amended. Above all, though there were some communication issues, the designer was able to understand my requests and concern. Although it costed more than ID firms, I am happy with the comfort of the house. I will introduce this firm and designer to others in the future.
